I was overweight and depressed and it got to the point when I had to do something about it and I have never looked back. I have my confidence, I look and feel good and people tell me in the street which makes me feel better about myself. I go to the gym, I go out walking and go swimming regularly, I can do loads more and don’t get tired like before. My goal is to live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute because life is too short to waste and our kids need us.

65% of us adults are overweight or obese and 15% or almost 9 million children are overweight – it’s hard to believe I know. The way I look at it’s never too late to make a difference to our lives and our children. These days people are obsessed with losing weight and there are so many different food fads and diets, a lot of people don’t know which way to turn. It’s so hard to find the right plan that suits our lifestyle. These days most of our entertainment always involves food or alcohol so indeed this can be very hard to break all those bad habits that are making most of our population over weight.

Most of us are eating the wrong foods and can’t see where we are going wrong for example some people eat far too much bread And not enough fruit and vegetables. Most people say they eat loads of vegetables but what they really mean they eat too much potato fries and chips can i just say there is a healthy option out there for just about anything. Most children these days do not exercise on a regular basis they spend too much time on games consoles and computers this is not the way forward, On a summers day they should be out doors kicking a ball around or walking the dog or swimming with friends they would have much more fun.

You can exercise when not realising cleaning the windows is a good one for those bingo wings and burns loads of calories and stretching up for those cobwebs even doing the ironing all this kind of exercise is free and good for you. I decided to change my eating habits and exercise more and to my surprise the weight was dropping off me, I lost 2 stone in just a few months and i had a lot more energy, I started doing aerobics classes and i was having more fun that i’ve had in years. There is plenty of help and good advise out there for anyone who is willing to change their eating habits and live a much healthier lifestyle. Why not, you deserve it.

Most of us are eating the wrong foods sometimes not enough and can’t see where they are going wrong. We need to be motivated and more organised with planning our daily routine, Don’t leave it too late to change your lifestyle eat healthy and be happy.
