Furthermore, if you are actually starving yourself and are extremely hungry then you will probably end up trying to eat just a little bit but because your body is so hungry you will be more prone to binge eating. By doing this, your body will be worse off in many (or even most) cases than it was before you started to try and starve yourself in the first place! This is definitely not a viable option after you understand this point.

3. Finally, one of the most convincing and pressing reasons that I believe you should not starve yourself is as follows. Your body needs a certain number of nutrients and different chemicals found in foods everyday just to maintain and get by. If you simply do not eat, then you are not only hurting yourself, you are actually killing yourself slowly.

If you don’t get the chemicals you need, your body simply starts to shut itself down. First go the organs that aren’t as important, then go the important ones, then you will eat away at yourself as you no longer have any muscles and even chemicals to produce solid organs or bones. You are not “losing weight, " you are robbing yourself of the very chemicals and nutrients that you need and it is extremely dangerous.

Don’t just try to go cold turkey on all foods, because food is a resource and a necessity. You need to continue eating no matter what you do; diet or no. But , while you might not want to believe it, there is certainly an extremely large difference between just eating healthy while following good eating habits and not eating at all.
